Frequently asked questions
How the model actually works: leads, pricing, disputes, data and launch. No jargon, no vague promises.
- What exactly is a billable lead?
- A new prospective customer, asking for a service you offer, in an area you cover, with genuine intent. Spam, suppliers, recruiters, wrong numbers, out-of-area calls, existing customers and duplicates are excluded. The full rules are a written schedule agreed before you sign, so both sides know what is billable.
- How does pricing work?
- Two parts: a one-off setup fee (discovery, design, the initial content set, call routing, the portal and launch support), and a fee per accepted lead that meets the agreed qualification standard. The per-lead fee can vary by service and area. Rejected, pending and validly disputed leads are never charged. Real figures come from our cost model and your demand, and are agreed up front.
- Do I have to commit to a monthly fee?
- Not necessarily. There are two illustrative plans: a Performance plan with no monthly commitment and a higher fee per accepted lead, and a Partnership plan with a modest monthly commitment that is credited against usage and a lower per-lead fee. You choose what fits, and it is agreed before you sign.
- Is it AI that decides which leads I pay for?
- No. Fixed rules first strip out obvious junk (spam, duplicates, wrong service, out of area), which is never billed. An AI analyser then proposes a verdict, a reason and a confidence score, but it is advisory only. A person always confirms which enquiries are genuine before anything can be billed. The AI never decides a charge on its own.
- Who owns the website and the leads?
- You are the registrant of your domain and own your supplied and approved content and your customer and lead data. We license the hosted platform and reusable software. There is no contradictory "it is yours / we own it" language.
- Do you record calls?
- Not by default. Recording and transcription stay off behind explicit feature flags until the necessary notices, lawful basis, retention rules and contracts are in place. Call tracking still logs who called, when, how long and whether it connected, without recording the conversation.
- How do disputes work?
- You can dispute a lead within an agreed window without listening to any recording. We resolve it with a reason code and an audit trail. Disputed leads drop out of the invoice until resolved, and credited leads never return to billing.
- How do you handle my data and GDPR?
- Privacy is built in: caller and enquirer phone numbers are stored hashed with only the last two digits kept for support, analytics cookies do not load until a visitor agrees, and recording stays off by default. On exit you receive an export of your leads, content and a media manifest.
- Which services and areas will you cover?
- Only the services you actually offer and the areas you genuinely serve. We do not mass-produce near-identical city pages just to rank; a page is only published and indexed when it has real local detail and a human has approved it against our content standard.
- How quickly can we launch?
- After discovery we build a focused set of strong pages, typically 15 to 30, each with real local detail. Every page passes content, claims, accessibility, SEO and privacy checks before it can be indexed, and we launch in noindex mode for QA first, then connect your tracking number and domain.
- Do I need a website already?
- No. If you have one, we connect a tracked number and an enquiry flow to it and improve it for AEO where we can, without rebuilding. If you do not, we build you a fast, AI-readable site with all of that built in. For many of the trades we work with, that is where it starts.
- How soon will I see leads?
- Honestly, it varies by trade, area and local competition, and getting recommended by AI assistants and search builds over weeks rather than overnight. We will give you a realistic picture on the call rather than promise numbers we cannot stand behind.
- What happens if I leave?
- You receive an export of your leads, content and a media manifest, plus redirects and DNS assistance, per the agreed exit schedule.
